Yes, I know I really slowed down the pace, distance etc in the past 2 weeks.
Again, my excuses would be work related, so I am not going to get into that, rather, I have figured out a way to ensure best balance between both…well, at least I think I have it figured out…the next 2 weeks of my travel and running plan will tell! Let’s wait and watch.
I lost a family member, a very close family member past week, that coupled with work, travel, made it a lot more difficult to follow-up with the routine of running this week… but when I thought about that wonderful person who left us so abruptly, I always remembered him telling me to stay fit, workout and stay healthy. So this months for you, dear uncle!
Diet, I am being careful to the extent I can though at times it becomes difficult to say no to your friends, loved ones for anything and everything that they have so kindly offered me….and might I add, these food items looked delicious too. But as much as I missed eating them, I think by the end of the year, when I look back, it would be worth it… worth it getting back into shape and my old fitness levels. Well, that’s the goal and focus…..
