I completed a goal of running 1,000 kms over a period of 20 months during Jan 2014-Aug 2015 and then all of a sudden, just stopped running…… just like that, with excuses of travel, work etc….. for the next 5 months.

Since I was starting any form of fitness routine back, after a gap of 5 months, I started slow and here are the updates so far:
- Jan 6th 2016 – Getting in the Zone with a 60 minute walk
- Jan 7th 2016 – Getting in the zone with a 90 minute walk – Thane
- Jan 8th 2016 – 6 Kms Run – Easter Express Highway – Mumbai
- Jan 9th 2016 – 5 Kms Running – Mumbai
- Jan 10th 2016 – 10 Kms Running (2 X 5Kms Run) in Marine Drive
I use different apps and of course, my smart watch to track the same from time to time too to give me a general idea of my improvement or lack in pace, strides, distance and time!
Smart Watch comes specially in handy in case your app stops suddenly or there is a network or GPS issue.
Not a bad start to the week, but let’s see how the second week of Running goes!
